‘Quantico' season 1 episode 7 spoilers: Secrets and lies will be exposed more quickly in ‘Go’

“Quantico” head Josh Safran recently promised that they will start revealing secrets and lies more quickly in the upcoming Episode 7, titled, “Go.”

In the previous episode of “Quantico,” the story revolved much about relationships. Alex Parrish (Priyanka Chopra) and Ryan Booth (Jake McLaughlin) continue to get intimate, while Simon (Tate Ellington) and Nimah (Yasmine Elmasri) may be reaching the end of their bond faster than expected. It was also revealed that Shelby (Johanna Braddy) and Clayton Haas, Caleb’s (Graham Rogers) father, were having an affair.

In an exclusive interview with Entertainment Weekly, showrunner Josh Safran shared that it was vital for Miranda (Aunjanue Ellis) to train the NATs by using herself as the target, to emphasize that everybody cannot hide secrets. She showed that everybody should be open and reveal everything to avoid any compromises in the future. Alex also wanted everyone to know that she is aware that she has secrets and understands that these will eventually surface, so she cannot actually keep them hidden for too long.

Alex will be surprised that Ryan lied to her, but will be able to deal with the matter better than when she first found out about her father. She will be more driven than ever but will no longer return to the dark place she previously was in.

Next, the plot will dwell more into Caleb and Shelby’s relationship. Both characters are keen on exploring their relationship, although Safran did not divulge whether they will have their happy ending or not. Their relationship will go through different forms but will remain a solid throughline for the rest of Season 1.

Based on the same Entertainment Weekly report, Nimah and Raina will not be holding their secret for long. The showrunner is going to expose their secret and determine how Simon will deal with it. More details will be shown between the twins and Simon. Miranda’s plan with the twins will be jeopardized as presented in Episode 7.

“Next week’s episode is really intense. It is more suspenseful than usual. Because all these secrets have been revealed, that sends everything careening towards each other on both timelines. It’s a very tense episode with a bunch of action in it and a lot of great emotion and really, you learn the final pieces of where everybody was on the day of the bombing.” Safran teased.

“Quantico” airs every Sunday at 10 p.m. ET on ABC.
