OnePlus has finally announced that the “flagship killer” can now be availed without invites. To top it off, this OnePlus One open sales deal reportedly stays "forever," starting from Monday.

The company has apparently made the formal announcement via its official blog. The blog reads the following: “Starting today, the One will be available without an invite. Forever.” Plus, interested buyers in India can also avail the open sales deal. Furthermore, the tech titan’s blog says, this “open sales” is being offered to mark the one-year anniversary of the OnePlus One's global release. The blog also talks about how fruitful the whole year has been for the company - “Since the early days, our company has changed quite a lot. We’ve grown to over 700 employees and have sold over one million OnePlus Ones worldwide.”

Adding a cherry on top, NDTV says, the company is also offering an add-on limited-period deal specific to Indian customers. With this deal, buyers can avail flat 50 percent discount on selected OnePlus accessories, upon purchasing the flagship killer smartphone. And this deal apparently ends on Thursday. Here is the list of accessories that come under the deal’s ambit: OnePlus JBL E1 plus Earphones, OnePlus Flip Cover in White and OnePlus Premium Matte Screen Protector.

According to NDTV, Carl Pei, Co-Founder and Head of Global in OnePlus, has apparently commented on the open sales announcement that, "By rigorously testing and improving our logistical structure over the last one year, we are far more confident that our processes have matured enough for us to handle the increased production and after-sales support that comes along with opening up sales.” “It's what we've been working towards, and now we're ready," he added further.

In the meantime, Pei also reportedly hinted that the firm is working to release the successor of the flagship killer named the "OnePlus 2." Ultimately, he also touched upon the pain point of the OnePlus One launch by stating that, the “invite system to non-invite system” purchase model transition will be of immense learning experience ahead of the OnePlus 2 release. In any case, readers should note that, the upcoming OnePlus 2 can only be availed with invites. Plus, the OnePlus 2 release date is reportedly set for the third quarter of 2015.
