The PS4 is gearing up for quite a lot of projects coming up this year, starting with the announcement from Haemimont Studios. The developer has already announced that city-builder Tropico 5 will be coming to the PS4. What's more is that I's not just going to be another port because it will take into consideration the different features unique to the PS4.

"We are delighted to be able to work with Sony to bring Tropico 5 to PlayStation 4 and enter the next generation market. The PlayStation 4 version of Tropico 5 will expand the Tropico brand to the new generation hardware and to a new generation of gamers," said Andrew Johnson, managing director for publisher Kalypso Media to GameSpot.

"Tropico 5" will include coop and competitive multiplayer with up to four players. The PS4's advantage is that there have been no announcements yet of "Tropico" landing on the Xbox One, though it's coming for the Xbox 360 sometime this year.

New Title Coming from 'Infamous: Second Son' Developer

"Infamous: Second Son" is still on its way to PS4 consoles, but after making a buzz at the Taipei Game Show, it seems that Sucker Punch is already looking forward to its next project.

Spotted by Push Square, job vacancies are already being advertised at the studio supposedly for another unannounced project. The developer is on the lookout for a gameplay programmer, a senior programmer and a rendering programmer/graphics engineer.

There are no details revealed as of the upcoming project---even the job listings don't specify on particular genres or specialisations beyond the job requirements. But if the next unannounced game is anything like what has already been seen with "Infamous: Second Son," then this is definitely a game worth looking out for.

Sonic Coming to PS4, Xbox One and Wii U?

"Sonic the Hedgehog" has already been contracted as exclusive to Nintendo's 3DS and Wii U for its next three games, with the first project being "Sonic Lost World," as well as "Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games" series, reports Forbes.

This exclusivity issue now comes into conflict with the announcement, as rumours of another unannounced "Sonic" title is said to be headed for the PS4, Xbox One and Wii U. VG 24/7 has snagged a snapshot of the new "Sonic" game at Nuremberg Toy Fair, which states, "New 2015 title TBA" and the logos of the three aforementioned platforms printed beneath it.

Then again, the report adds that this will be the fourth game for "Sonic," which can mean that it is not covered by the three exclusive games tied to Nintendo's consoles.

PS4 Firmware Teased Again?

More details have emerged regarding the awaited PS4 firmware, this time from insider Thuway.

Gamepur has spotted a number of tweets from the insider stating that some of the included features in the PS4 firmware include headset compatibility, better Blu-ray and audio support, among others.

"I've heard Sony is listening and there is a laundry list of items in store for future firmware updates. No one is sleeping at the job," said Ahsan Rasheed, more known as @thuway, as quoted by Gamepur.

Considering that Sony has had a track record for listening to its consumers, it won't be a surprise if this laundry list does contain some of the mentioned items, since these are the well-voiced out aspects that PS4 owners want in their consoles.
