Playing remote games from the PS4 to the PS Vita has been one of the advantages of Sony's next-gen console. But it seems that a project from a father and son had made it even more fun and easier playing by combining the PS4's DualShock 4 with the PS Vita.

Forbes reports that gamers can easily hack the DualShock 4 to transform it into the controller for the PS Vita. Think of the setup as how Android controllers work for Android devices. The PS Vita serves as a gaming screen, while the DualShock 4 is the regular controller.

The hack is ingenious and bypasses the regular standards wherein remote play stops the connection between the DualShock 4 and the PS Vita. According to the report, all gamers need to do is log into a second account on the DualShock 4 controller and then go on Remote Play on the PS Vita. Then, switch to the home screen of DualShock 5 so that they can use it to play the game on their PS Vita.

This would be easier for those who need to give way to the TV for other family members, or just want to play around the house but without giving up the accurate feel of the DualShock 4. What's even more ingenious is the fact that the creator has slapped together the PS Vita and the DualShock 4, albeit in an improvised manner - rubber bands and Velcro pads.

Since there is no holder for the PS Vita on the DualShock 4, what gamers can do is to hold it in place with a rubber band or Velcro pads that have been slung through the two slots at the bottom of the PS Vita and wrapped around the base of the DualShock 4.

Now, there are reports of gamers who, after downloading the PS4 1.60 firmware update, are now unable to log in and have been locked out of the PS Store. It seems that these players are encountering a new error code, which tells them that the service is not available in the country or region that the gamer is in.

According to Escapist Magazine, the PlayStation Support team has already stated that Sony is investigating the matter. It was also suggested that logging out and logging back in may be a temporary fix, though this is not a proven fix.

This may be a small hurdle for those who have been looking forward to playing "Outlast," which is already free as a PS Plus bonus for members. But hopefully, Sony can address the matter as soon as possible.

More Games Coming to PS4

So far, PS4 fans have been looking forward to "Infamous: Second Son" as one of the exciting upcoming games on Sony's next-gen console.

While there have already been other games teased to come out for the PS4, including "The Order: 1886," the delayed "DriveClub," "Uncharted 4" and "Tropico 5," there may still be others that are coming in as first-party titles for the console, reports Gamingbolt.

Citing a NeoGAF user who is supposedly known to be from Sony Computer Entertainment, the report states that there are still a number of games that will be announced. The problem is that there are no clarifications on whether these new developments will be seen in 2014 or in the coming years.

"They will probably start announcing new stuff 'shortly' but who knows how the marketing dept want to handle things this year," said the NeoGAF user and SCE employee in a forum as quoted by Gamingbolt.

So far, the PS4 has been winning in the games section compared to the Xbox One, aside from it topping in console sales.
