Prince Harry looked dashing in a black tuxedo and bowtie at the 100 Women in Hedge Funds Gala Dinner in London. The 30-year-old royal attended the event as the guest of honour where the proceeds will go to the WellChild charity that aids sick children.

Prince Harry smiled at the cameras and mingled with the guests at the event where there were over 200 women present. However, the prince joked during his speech that some confusion must have happened for the event's seating arrangement.

"Thank you all very much for coming this evening. I am not entirely sure who made the seating plan but I am sitting between two men. I thought it would just be 100 women and myself," Prince Harry stated in his speech. On a serious note, Prince Harry admitted that he is incredibly proud to be the patron of WellChild charity that is being championed by the 100 Women in Hedge Fund's UK this 2014.

The prince further added that he is delighted as well to be the patron of the 100 Women in Hedge Fund's philanthropic initiatives this 2014. Click HERE to see photos. According to a Mirror report, Prince Harry attended the WellChild Awards in September to talk and spend time with the sick children.

An E!Online report noted down that Prince Harry made a solo appearance at the gala held at London's Royal Hospital in Chelsea, south west London. Prince William and Kate Middleton, who are also patrons of the 100 Women in Hedge Funds' philanthropic initiatives, were not present at the event.

It is speculated that Kate's absence at the gala is due to the pregnancy sickness that she has been suffering for the past couple of weeks. Prince William became a patron back in 2009 while his younger brother and wife joined him in 2012. The organization also raises money for Kate Middleton's charities which are Action on Addiction and The Art Room.

In 2013, the Duchess of Cambridge attended the gala looking stunning with her short-sleeved and off-the-shoulder-neckline navy blue Jenny Packham dress. The 100 Women in Hedge Funds got established back in 2001 as a global association for female professionals that work together in promoting education, philanthropy and professional success.
