This weekend's fixtures kick off with an away trip for Southampton FC to Burnley FC. After keeping up with the league leaders Chelsea FC for a long time, Southampton seems to be running out of steam after suffering three back-to-back defeats. Expect them to bounce back this weekend against relegation candidates Burnley.

Chelsea will look to consolidate their position at the top of the league especially after the humbling loss that they suffered last week at the hands of Newcastle United FC. They have the right opposition in Hull City FC, another of the relegation threatened team, to steamroll over and again feel good about life.

Manchester City FC will try and maintain the gap with the league leaders to just three points when they go on an away trip to Leicester City FC. Manchester City have won all of their last five matches and are in red hot form and should have no problems defeating the last team on the league table.

The fourth placed team on the league table, West Ham United FC, will want to maintain their top four credentials when they visit a struggling side in Sunderland FC. This match could be a potential banana skin trip for the Hammers. Another significant game on Saturday will see Arsenal FC try and resurrect their on and off season by winning against an in form Newcastle United. A win will see them knocking on the top-four teams points tally.

Sunday will see Manchester United FC entertain Liverpool FC. The red devils are favourites going into this match and surely expect a lot of passions from both the teams and their supporters. United are slowly but surely gaining momentum while Liverpool are just not being able gather any themselves. The other match of the day will see Swansea City FC take on Tottenham Hotspurs FC at home; expect a very tight match with the home side slightly ahead because of familiar conditions.

With Diego Costa just settling into the side back from injury and Sergio Aguero out injured, all eyes must be on Alexis Sanchez the third highest goal scorer in the league so far. One of the best imports in the league this season has been carrying Arsenal on his shoulders so far.
