Gearing up to welcome their second bundle of joy, Prince William and Kate Middleton are set to welcome Prince George’s brother or sister in late-April 2015. But based on a report, the pregnant Duchess of Cambridge is going to give birth on the 25th with the rest of the world waiting to take a glimpse of the royal second baby.

“Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to confirm they are expecting a baby in April 201,” according to a statement from the Royal Family. "The Duchess of Cambridge continues to be affected by Hyperemisis Gravidarum, but her condition is steadily improving."

The couple confirmed their pregnancy on Oct 20, 2014 after Kate was safely past the 12-week point in the pregnancy. Kensington Palace announced the Duchess’ second pregnancy with an official statement that the couple is expecting “a baby” as they put the twin speculation to rest.

There is no confirmation yet about the baby’s sex although bookmakers already slashed the odds on a baby girl, with Alice leading the names for baby girl. A popular traditional royal name, Queen Victoria name her second daughter Princess Alice. The popular name is also the middle name of Prince Anne and Prince Edward’s daughter Lady Louise.

UK-based online gaming company, Ladbrokes, said that “82 percent of wagers” are betting for a princess, with names likes Elizabeth, Charlotte and Victoria following Alice’s lead. Royal watchers are speculating that Kate is pregnant with a girl and was reportedly seen shopping for pink baby clothes this week.

Now officially in maternity leave, the pregnant Kate Middleton made her last official public appearance at three engagement with husband Prince William in London on March 17. The couple visited Stephen Lawrence Centre as they support development opportunities for young people at the Centre, which is located in South London.

Meanwhile, Prince William started his new job as a civilian as he embarks on his new role as air ambulance pilot. The family-of four is set to start their country life in Anmer Hall in Norfolk, a 10-bedroom estate complete with a swimming pool and tennis court. The country home is an ideal place for the young royal family to start their lives away from the prying eyes of the public.
