April holds a lot of events and new information for the Pokemon franchise. The Pokemon Company has announced The Wish Pokemon Jirachi to come in April as the highlight of the month for the 20th year celebration.

The official Pokemon website has confirmed that until April 24, players of the “Pokemon X and Y” and “POkemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire” will be able to get the Mythical Pokemon. This will be made available via the NIntendo Network.

Jirachi will also be making an appearance in the “Pokemon TCG: Mythical Pokemon Collection—Jirachi.” This will come with a pin and a promo card of the Wish Pokemon. For collectors of plushies, there is a limited edition eight-inch Jirachi plus toy and a two-inch figurine of Jirachi.

Another title that will hit the spot for Pokemon players is “Pokken Tournament.” It seems that the developer has made a demo of the game available for download for the Wii U. It can be obtained from the Nintendo eShop. However, the demo has limited number of plays.

The most anticipated title of the franchise, “Pokemon Sun and Moon,” unfortunately does not have a lot by way of updates. Trusted Pokemon source Serebii reported that the new episode of Gathering at the Pokemon House did not yield the expected new footage for “Pokemon Sun and Moon.”

Instead, what was shown was the trailer that was released alongside the Pokemon Direct back in February. Still, there was a update from game director Junichi Masuda that there will be 10 new Pokemon in “Pokemon Sun and Moon.”

The next place that fans can look forward to for more leaks is the upcoming CoroCoro magazine. It may contain some more info about the game, or perhaps another announcement where a new footage may actually be shown.

“Pokemon Sun and Moon” is expected to release during the holiday of 2016. It will come to the Nintendo 3DS platform.
