Niantic has confirmed what’s in store for “Pokemon GO” fans when the latest update hits the game. Players are already going crazy this month because of the “Pokemon GO” Christmas event. Now, there are rumblings that the developer is adding Holiday Boxes to the game. The Christmas event has already provided trainers a free single-use incubator everyday once they visit their first PokeStop. This facility will be available till Jan. 3, 2017.

According to the information provided by Pokemon GO Live, it seems Niantic has even more surprises up its sleeve. As per the blog post, Niantic “will be adding a few limited-time holiday item packs to the ‘Pokemon GO’ in-game shop at a discounted rate.” From Dec. 25 to Dec. 30, it will be releasing Special, Great, and Ultra Boxes that will include Ultra Balls, Great Balls, Incense and Incubators.

From Dec. 30 to Jan. 3, 2017, “Pokemon GO” trainers will be offered to purchase Gold, Silver and Bronze boxes that will include Great Balls, PokeBalls, Lucky Eggs, Lure Modules and Incense. This is something that fans never expected. They were happy with the Christmas event and now they are simply elated because of abundance of surprises. This is Niantic’s master plan to keep its trainers glued to the game.

Niantic has surprised “Pokemon GO” players with the Christmas event as it’s not quite what everybody expected. Double XP and Candy feature are lacking but Niantic has enough of other surprising stuffs to get players playing again. According to Forbes, the event can be looked upon as a pair event that will take place over the next two weeks. Niantic, via the “Pokemon GO” Christmas event, has increased the chances of securing Gen 2 baby Pokemon from new eggs.
