Pippa Middleton is scheduled to wed her hedge fund manager fiance, James Matthews, on May 20. With the wedding date drawing closer and closer, the 33-year-old socialite is putting the preparations on full gear as she continues to make choices in invitation stationery and venue decorations, while keeping herself in top shape for her walk down the aisle.

According to Mail Online, Pippa tucked her save-the-date cards with her Christmas cards last year. The actual invitations to the wedding, on the other hand, are likely to be released about six weeks prior to the wedding date. The publication also claimed that the invites are likely to be very elegant and traditional -- in portrait with engraved black lettering on a clean white card. Mount Street Printers reportedly has the responsibility of printing.

Various publications have confirmed that Pippa and James will wed at St Mark’s Church in Englefield, Berkshire. After which, the bride, groom and their guests will travel a short way for the reception at the Middleton’s Bucklebury home. The large lawn and fragrant rose bushes will be elegantly covered by a marquee. And at 18 acres wide, the property will be spacious enough for the estimated 350-400 guests. The marquee is likely to be attached to a catering tent as well as toilets, a dance floor and a stage.

Over the past few weeks, Pippa has been seen frequenting Lavender Green Flowers in Chelsea, London. It is likely that the royal sister will opt for flowers that already grow in her family’s garden as this will tie things up nicely. Country gardens in pink, blue and white are a definite decorative choice. However, canopies of either hydrangeas and or peonies are likely to be placed overhead at the reception venue.

When Kate Middleton wed Prince William in 2011, Pippa was thrown into the media spotlight for being the maid of honour. But now that it is her own wedding, Pippa is keeping in shape to look her best. She reportedly has a personal trainer at the South Kensington Club gym. Nevertheless, in the times that she would prefer to stay at home to work out, her £17 million (AU$28.3 million) Chelsea mansion with James reportedly has a fully equipped gym.

James asked for Pippa’s hand on July 17, 2016. The two were dating for less than a year at that point so the engagement had taken the 33-year-old by surprise. However, friends and family were thrilled to hear the news.
