It may be a smart move for Pippa Middleton not to give her royal sister a place in her entourage, but that does not mean that Kate Middleton will not be part of the celebrations. Official titles aside, the two are as close as sisters can get, and the Duchess is apparently planning a grand send-off for the bride-to-be.

According to Life & Style Magazine, the 35-year-old mother-of-two is throwing her younger sister a grand bachelorette party. “Kate is arranging a no-expenses-spared weekend at a luxury resort in the Swiss Alps for Pippa and 15 of her closest friends,” a source told the publication. The girls will apparently have days of skiing, ice skating, spa treatments and snowmobiling to get through.

“Kate is hiring private chefs to cook a lavish 10 course tasting dinner feature some of Pippa’s own dishes,” they continued. And while these details alone sound like everything that is necessary for an unforgettable weekend, that is not all that the Duchess of Cambridge has in mind. “She’s arranging surprise performances by the likes of Ellie Goulding,” the source said. “And possibly even bigger stars.”

The details of Pippa’s bachelorette party have not been officially made public, and it is unlikely to ever be revealed. But the possibilities are definitely endless and the weekends to make it happen are inching away.

According to Us Magazine, Pippa will wed her hedge fund manager fiance, James Matthews, on May 20. The ceremony will take place at St Mark’s Englefield, Berkshire, and the reception will follow at the Middleton estate, which is just seven miles away. A luxury marquee is reportedly going to cover the entire grounds of the home.

The publication also reported that Pippa has been a very hands-on bride-to-be, so the day is likely to be filled with class and elegance. Kate will reportedly not walk down the aisle before the 33-year-old socialite, but will instead read something during the ceremony.
