Supermodel Cindy Crawford used to be a rude diva, according to famed photographer Bruce Weber. The celebrated fashion photographer recalled the time when he had to give the catwalk beauty a lesson she wouldn't forget when her attitude became a problem.

No matter how much of a diva supermodels were in those days, there was still a more powerful force during photo shoots: the photographer. And so when Crawford became disagreeable, Weber quickly showed her the door.

Talking to Huffington Post Live on Tuesday, Weber opened up about the time the American beauty, who is now 47, acted up, being rude to everybody. He was having none of it, though.

"It was on a Revlon shooting, and she was so rude to the whole team and the crew. Not to me, but I didn't really care for that," Weber said, adding that it took place more than a decade ago at a boxing gym in Los Angeles. The photo shoot also featured old boxers.

Crawford, who was being difficult at that time, apparently told the art director, "Why is Bruce photographing those old boxers when he should be photographing me? My makeup is ready."

"[The art director] came and he told me, and I walked up to her and I said, 'Did you say that,' she said yes," Weber said.

And that's all it took for him to kick her out.

"Get out of here," he told her, and she left crying.

That was the only time that he said he had told a model to leave. They've been friends since, although it wasn't mentioned if Crawford has curbed her diva-esque attitude after the incident.

Weber is well-known for photographing high-profile campaigns for Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, Donatella Versace, and Revlon. He also has had work for top magazines like Elle, GQ, Vogue, Rolling Stone, and Vanity Fair.

He is currently promoting the 25th anniversary screening of his film "Let's Get Lost" at the New York's Film Forum.
