Paula Abdul has nabbed the last seat of the judges’ panel on the Australian edition of Network TEN’s “So You Think You Can Dance.” And the “American Idol” alum may very well be the perfect addition to the dance competition given her background in dancing and choreography.

Take40 noted that Abdul is the best judge to fill the last judging spot being known to be good at the craft. She has two Emmy awards for her choreography. But that’s not the only ace up her sleeve. Her talents have also earned her one Grammy Award, seven MTV Video Awards and three American Music Awards.

This is not the first time that Abdul will be judging reality dancing competition show. She was also a judge for “Live to Dance.”

The Hollywood celebrity has also contributed in the search for new talents in other American reality shows including the “American Idol,” and “The X Factor USA.”

Abdul will complete a group of high-profile judges of SYTYCD, including respected choreographer, Jason Gilkison and two more judges, Shannon Holtzapffel and former Tap Dog Aaron Cash.

Speaking to Sydney Morning Herald, Abdul shared her excitement to start working with the returning judges of the show and in playing a role to find new talents.

The new SYTYCD judge also expressed confidence on the Aussie dance talents.

"Aussie dancers are without a doubt some of the best in the world, and it is an honour for me to be a part of finding Australia's best dancer," Abdul said, according to the Sydney Morning Herald.

Abdul also noted that she looks forward to the experience she would be sharing with the Aussie dancers.

“I just can’t wait to start work on So You Think You Can Dance Australia. I am thrilled to be a part of this great show and to experience first-hand the skill, passion and athleticism of these dancers,” Abdul was quoted as saying by Take40.

Network TEN’s “So You Think You Can Dance Australia” is slated to hit the tubes in 2014.
