One Direction crooner Niall Horan has had a brief moment to reflect on the future of his career and he admits fear as he looks at the journey of Rolling Stone front man, Mick Jagger.

The fear that he may not perform as Jagger emanates from his “dodgy knees. It will be recalled that about a year ago, Niall had a knee surgery and he revealed still having discomfort even after the medical procedure.

The constant pain has somehow brought Niall fear that he may not be able to perform like legendary singer, Mick Jagger . In a recent interview with The Sun, Niall admits admiring the Rolling Stone singer and how he has remained athletic with energetic performances through the years.

"Jagger does it but I don't think at the moment I'd be able to," Horan said, according to Mstarz, citing report by The Sun.

He then attributed this to his ailing knees and said: "I've got dodgy knees.''

Niall has been open about his painful knee in recent weeks. Not too long ago, he took to Twitter and complained why he failed to meet his fans in a recent tour in Australia.

The “Best Song Ever” singer explained why he stayed inside an Australian hotel, leaving his fans unable to see him.

“…knees are at it again! Painful!,” Niall tweeted on Oct. 4, followed by a touching apology to his Aussie fans.

Niall tweeted, “Sorry I didn't come outside the hotel guys! Havin one of those days with my stupid knee !”

Despite the surgery Niall underwent last year, it appears that aches and pains are not totally gone, leaving him no choice but rest inside a hotel instead of meeting his waiting fans.

But the post-performance interaction with the fans may not be the only thing Niall may miss if his knees continue to give him discomfort. The young singer fears that he may not be like Mick Jagger, leaving critics to speculate that his physical condition may force him One Direction, for good.
