Designer Manish Arora impressed with his ready-to-wear Spring-Summer collection on Thursday at the Paris Fashion Week. His collection was the outcome of wild imagination. It was a pleasant surprise when his models walked wearing such innovative clothing collection. Manish showed eccentricity, colours and magic.

The Indian fashion designer seems to be great import to the West. He innovates and experiments with ease. This was no exception to his usual zone of unusual choices. The pink neon, orange or yellow dresses took turns with griege, green and other colours along with embroidered precious stones.

Manish has been collaborating with Amrapali, the jeweller, in order to create exclusive jewellery line inspired by Indian culture. Those are created with vibrant enamels as the motifs inspired by nature make a magnificent collection. This time, the jewellery collection was quite stunning as well. There were some flashes of phosphorescent looks. Manish said that it was a tribute to Josephine Baker in the "delirium."

He was invited for the first time to be a part of the prestigious Paris Fashion Week in 2007. Earlier in 2011, Manish was appointed as the Creative Director of the women's wear collection at Paco Rabanne, the well-known fashion house in France. However, he left the job in 2012. According to his official Web site, his designs are sold at 75 stores all over the world. The famous stores that feature Manish's collection include Joyce, Galeries Lafayette and Beams.

Manish is often compared with John Galliano. He is well appreciated for using kitsch motifs and rich psychedelic colours along with traditional Indian arts such as appliqué and embroidery along with Western silhouette beading. He often plays around with gold and pink.

Manish Arora's work has been featured on the covers of prominent magazines such as Interview, Elle, Vogue, V Magazine, L'officiel, Harpers among others. He has collaborated with Swarovski, Walt Disney, Barbie, Reebok, Nespresso, Mono Prix, MAC, Mummery and Nivea. Several celebrities highly appreciate his styling. The list of those celebrities includes Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Rihanna, Beth Ditto and Rosy de Palma.
