'Outlander' TV series star Sam Heughan describes perfect Valentine's Day Celebration

With Valentine’s Day being the hot topic of discussion at the moment, a new video shows “Outlander” star Sam Heughan describing his version of a perfect date. The actor is popular for playing the role of Jamie in the TV series and his onscreen romance has won the actor a lot of praise by the fans.

A video posted on YouTube shows Heughan in a black leather jacket talking about his “first ideal Valentine’s day.” The actor said that he liked the idea of receiving a card. The actor said that he remembers the time when he was just hoping to get “something.”

The actor likes to be invited to a “surprise date.” The ideal location for a date for Heughan is on top of a mountain, as long as it isn’t very cold. The actor prefers a walk or a hike during the date, before settling down at some place that has a good view and enjoy his date’s company with some wine and great food.

Heughan is currently busy filming his scenes for “Outlander” Season 2. His character Jamie, along with Claire (Caitriona Balfe) and Murtagh (Duncan Lacroix) will be seen in France in the next season.

The first trailer of the next season was released online recently, showing some of the scenes from the show. Jamie, Claire and Murtagh have gotten new sets of costumes, as they will be in France.

The romance between Jamie and Claire is set to continue in the next season, as the former slowly tries to get over the events from the first season. Their relationship, however, will be tested again with a new set of challenges while in France.

“Outlander” Season 2 will premiere on April 9. The plot of the next season will be based on the book “Dragonfly in Amber” by Diana Gabaldon, who has also written the script of one of the episodes this time around.
