“Outlander” cast members Sophie Skelton (as Brianna) and Richard Rankin (as Roger Wakefield) have recently answered a few questions from fans. The two actors are now preparing to start filming season 4 of the popular TV series.

With the relationship between Brianna and her mother evolving on the show, Skelton was asked if her character now regrets being so hard on Claire (Caitriona Balfe) about Jamie (Sam Heughan). The actress agreed that Brianna “now understands what love is and why her mother was so distant for so long.”

Another fan asked Skelton about the hardest part of preparing for the show. The actress said it was having hair dyed for hours.

Brianna hasn’t travelled back in time like her mother, so Skelton has only worked with Balfe until now. When asked if she’s excited to work with Heughan in the future, the actress gave an emphatic yes. Skelton has already read Book 4 by Diana Gabaldon, on which season 4 will be based. The actress said she’s looking forward to meet a certain redhead on the show next year.

Skelton said she is “excited” to begin filming season 4. As far as physically challenging aspects of some scenes are concerned, the actress said these are the “best bits.” She even said, “Bring on season 4.”

Rankin, on the other hand, also has something interesting to look forward to. When asked about the evolution of his character, he said that Roger has remained the same so far. The big changes for the character happen in season 4 and 5.

In “Outlander” season 3, there’s a possibility that Rankin will sing. Rankin isn’t allowed to reveal any details about this yet or even confirm that he sings. Fans will have to just continue to watch the show to find out if it happens.
