Romann Berrux has shared a new picture of his character Fergus from “Outlander” season 3 online. The actor is celebrating his 16th birthday. Meanwhile, new promo stills were also released teasing scenes from the Battle of Culloden, Claire’s (Caitriona Balfe) life in Boston and Jamie’s (Sam Heughan) flashback.

Thanking his fans for the birthday wishes, Berrux (Fergus) shared a behind-the-scenes picture of his character for next season. The picture (see below) shows a sad Fergus standing alone in an empty road.

Fergus will continue to follow Jamie in the flash forward. Viewers get to see the character as a grown-up, which will be played by newcomer César Domboy. So this will be the last season in which Berrux will be seen.

Heughan also wished Berrux on his birthday. However, the co-star took the opportunity to tease the “wee man” about his height.

Meanwhile, more stills from the next season have surfaced on Twitter. The first is from the Battle of Culloden, which will be featured in the premiere episode. Jamie will be facing his final battle against Black Jack (Tobias Menzies) in this fight, as seen in the pictures.

Following the battle, Jamie will grow a long beard. He was planning to die in the Battle of Culloden, thinking that death would be better than a life without Claire. A picture of this can be seen in the new set of stills.

The other is that of Claire with her husband Frank in Boston. The couple will find it hard to make their relationship work, mostly because Frank can’t fill the void left by Jamie in the Sassenach’s heart.

“Outlander” season 3 is set to premiere on Sept. 10. The title of the episode is “The Battle Joined.”
