Other Side of Rihanna: Cooks, Parties and Tweets Photos from her Grandma’s Birthday [PHOTOS]

The party girl tones down a bit as she enjoys family time with the celebration of her grandmother's birthday.

Rihanna might have made a bad impression to the public with her risqué wardrobe choices, her partying habits and re recent decision to collaborate with ex-boyfriend Chris Brown. But when it comes to family, Riri displays an inner glow and lie lows for a bit.

Enjoying a break from her busy schedule, the "We Found Love" singer stopped by her grandparent's house in Brooklyn, New York to pave her grandmother a birthday visit. The popstar practically documented the entire event by taking pictures and posting it on her Twitter account.

Rihanna picked up wine and some other things before heading to her grandparent's place. In one picture, she was seen cooking away in a small spaced kitchen and in another she was seated in between her grandparent's while they plant her a kiss on the cheeks.

The 24-year-old singer who seem to have had good time with her family over the weekend, even tweeted about his grandfather's confusion to her hair color.

"My GranDad: Robyn how ya is get hair from red to cream to black??? Cuz ya don't carry wigs," she wrote.

The visit must have done her good before she gets busy again in May for the release of her film debut, "Battleship." The singer is still promoting her album "Talk That Talk" wherein she admitted during an interview with "Access Hollywood" that she's trying to work on a collaboration with good friend Katy Perry.

"We have been working on this for years. We still are trying to make a song together, Katy Perry and I," Rihanna said.

"She is one of my favorite musicians, as well as one of my favorite people in the industry," the singer added.
