The CW spin-off series "The Originals" is scheduled to return on April 15, 2014 after recently airing Episode 17 titled "Moon Over Bourbon Street" that revealed about Klaus' plan. However, other details for Episode are unknown like its title or synopsis.

According to the Carter Matt report, a problem that "The Originals" currently faces at this moment is the exit of a main character, Original vampire Rebekah Mikaelson (Claire Holt). "The writers are probably still dealing with the ramifications of that. It is very hard to lose a series regular like Claire Holt so early in a show's run. It was just not the same sort of story that it once was. Eventually, the show will figure some of this out, but it is going to take both a little bit of time and patience from fans," the report reads.

The Wet Paint spoiler report noted that the peace treaty between the four factions in New Orleans has been signed but the promo video for Episode 18 tease that chaos will still prevail as well as blood. "One never knows when a witch might come in handy," Klaus stated about his relationship with the resurrected witch Genevieve (Elyse Levesque).

Klaus clearly has a sneaky plan on his mind and Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) knows about it even though he does not have any idea what exactly it is. "He's got something going on behind Elijah's back," Marcel stated. The exiled vampire is quickly working on his move to retrieve everything that was taken away from him.

Another scene in the promo video showed Elijah telling Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) that she should not trust "him." Is Elijah talking about Klaus or Hayley's werewolf protector Jackson (Nathan Parsons) since the two are getting closer to each other?

"Who said maintaining alliances can't be fun?" Klaus declared before the promo video ended. "The Originals" will return with Episode 18 on Tuesday night, April 15, at 8 pm ET on the CW Network.
