OnePlus X, the third smartphone from the newbie Chinese smartphone manufacturer, is slated for launch with a price tag of $220 (AU$301) during its rumored reveal date of Oct. 29.

A well-known Chinese leakster, @Leaksfly, revealed on Weibo the OnePlus X will cost RMB1,399 in China. In other countries, the phone may launch with a higher price tag, Phone Arena reported.

The upcoming OnePlus X isn’t expected to have flagship specs but will be an aesthetically appealing smartphone in the midrange category. Lenovo recently launched the beautifully designed ZUK Z1 that’s got midrange specs and features the Snapdragon 801 processor. The new OnePlus X also seems to be a similar device with the same beautiful appeal and the same chipset.

OnePlus X was spotted on TENNA, China’s certification body, G for Games reported. The handset will have a 4.99-inch OLED screen; will support full HD resolution and deliver a pixel count of 441 ppi.

The quad-core Snapdragon 801 CPU with a processing speed of 2.26 GHz will power-up the OnePlus X. The SoC will be assisted by 3 GB of RAM.

The native internal storage listed on TENNA is 16 GB. The OnePlus 2 and the older OnePlus One don’t feature a microSD. The new OnePlus X will have it, however.

The backside camera on the OnePlus X will be a 13 MP. The front-facing camera will be an 8 MP. The phone will be shipped with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop onboard. It will come with connectivity features like NFC and 4G LTE

Its profile is a slim 6.9 mm. The device will measure 140 mm x 69 mm and weighs 138 grams. It will pack a 2,450 mAh battery.
