“Once Upon A Time” Season 5 will remain on hiatus for the most part of Q1 2016. To give fans something to hold on to, co-creators Adam Horowitz and Eddy Kitsis tease what happens next to Emma Swan (Jennifer Morrison), Mulan (Jamie Chung), Rumplestiltskin (Robert Carlyle) and Belle (Emilie de Ravin).

Spoiler alert: This update contains “Once Upon A Time” Season 5 spoilers. Read only if you want some teasers from the show bosses.

Mulan gets re-introduced in the latter part of “Once Upon A Time” Season 5A. Kitsis told The Hollywood Reporter viewers will see more of Mulan in the second part of the season. Her love story will be explored, but Aurora (Sarah Bolger) is not scheduled to return. Does this mean Mulan is letting her beloved go?

Viewers will see Mulan “moving forward” in future OUAT 5 episodes. It will be the first gay storyline in the fantasy drama. The show bosses emphasize they are treating it like any other love story that is “exciting, emotional and heartfelt.”

Mulan and Ruby (Meghan Ory) return together in one OUAT 5 episode and decide to be on a journey together. Will their journey remain platonic, or develop into something romantic? Viewers are left to speculate.

At this point, ‘Rumbelle’ fans are wondering whether Belle would get pregnant in “Once Upon A Time” Season 5. There are speculations that De Ravin’s pregnancy would be written in the show. Neither Horowitz nor Kitsis confirmed it, but Kitsis said such speculation is “on the right clue trail.”

Incidentally, Ginnifer Goodwin, who plays Snow White a.k.a. Mary Margaret is also pregnant with her second baby. Goodwin’s on-screen and real life husband Josh Dallas plays Prince Charming a.k.a. David on OUAT. The two got married in April 2014. Their first baby, a boy, is about a year and a half old. People has the couple’s latest photos (featuring Goodwin on pregnancy glow) here.

Some fans are convinced that Goodwin’s second pregnancy means another Charming baby in OUAT. Their second baby in the show, Prince Neal, is named after their grandchild Henry’s (Jared S. Gilmore) dad. Neal a.k.a. Baelfire (Michael Raymond-James) dies in “Once Upon A Time” Season 3.

The firstborn of Snow White and Prince Charming, Emma Swan, is now on a quest to the Underworld to reunite with Captain Hook (Colin O’Donoghue). Will she re-encounter her first love Neal in the journey? This is another unconfirmed fan speculation, giving fans another reason to look forward to the return of “Once Upon A Time” Season 5 on ABC.
