As Omar Borkan Al Gala greeted his still unnamed mom “Happy Mother’s Day" on Facebook, the self-described poet and model too handsome for his own region, has finally recovered his official community page on one of the most popular social media networks the world has to offer - - Facebook.

The Dubai native shot to fame when he was identified as among the three men allegedly kicked out of an annual festival in Saudi Arabia - - the kind of news that caught fire on the Internet on April 25, consequently making him the world’s newest Internet sensation.

Omar mysteriously lost his Facebook community page on May 2, revealing the missing community page in a post that said: “My FB page was deleted, even I don’t know why.”

The upcoming actor for the movie, 51 - - considered one of the few major independent, short films in the United Arab Emirates - - has confirmed having trouble with Facebook and his account, but noting actions undertaken by his people.

Omar Borkan Al Gala: “Facebook is in the process of correcting the situation with my FB page and I would like to thank you for all your support and hope to resolve this issue soon. THIS IS THE OFFICIAL OMAR BORKAN AL GALA PAGE. Stay tuned...”

He has indeed recovered his page and he began interacting with his followers using the same account in almost a week. The first Omar did after successfully logging in to his page was update his profile, like many of FB users. It should be worth emphasising however, the big gap in his timeline after losing his page for almost one week since May 2. Immediately preceding his first post was a notification “Started in 2008.”

Omar has taken the world by storm when he was identified as one of the men thrown out of Saudi Arabia for his “unlawful good looks.” News broke out on April 25. His Facebook followers back then was close to 85,000. In two days after his good looks gave him away, Omar’s followers shot up to 375,000, gaining almost 250,000 in just 48 hours. Before losing his page, Omar’s followers were recorded at about 790,000 FB users with approximately 75,000 people talking about him.

Upon recovery of his page, the numbers skyrocketed to a staggering figure of 920k or an exact figure of 921,838 likes and 92,819 talking about this people talking about him as of 9am UTC+10. At this pace, it is highly likely that Omar is going to have 1 Million FB users following him on his official page.

Certainly not bad for less than a month since his scandalous good looks had given him away as one of the three men deported and thrown out of Saudi Arabia for his beautiful face.
