New South Wales Premiere Mike Baird unveiled the first look of the 2015 movie "UnIndian." The movie features former Australian fast bowler Brett Lee as the male lead.

The launch of the first look teaser was launched at a function organised in the Indian city of Mumbai known for being the hub of the Hindi movie industry in the country. Destination NSW, a major events agency of the NSW government, hosted the event which was attended by the female lead of the movie, Tannishtha Chatterjee, and the Director/Producer of the movie, Anupam Sharma. The teaser, which has also been shared on YouTube on Jan. 13, shows the former Australian pacer dancing with powdered colours on and around him.

The official IMDb page of the movie says that the movie is about Meera (played by Chatterjee), an Australian woman of Indian origin, who lives in Sydney. She is a divorced single mother who falls in love with Will (played by Lee). According to Meera, falling in love with an Australian man is not only scandalous but "unIndian" as well. The description of the YouTube video says that it is a "cross-cultural romantic comedy." The Australian film is "about the complexities of Indian diaspora and wooing another from a different culture." The description also says that the movie comes "with a lot of heart." The movie is edited by Marcus D'Arcy who was nominated for the Academy Award for Film Editing in 1995 for "Babe." According to Bollywood Helpline, the movie has been made with support from Destination NSW, the University of New South Wales and Cochlear Ltd.

This is not the first time Lee gets associated with the Indian entertainment industry. He earlier collaborated with legendary Indian singer Asha Bhonsle during the 2006 ICC Champions Trophy in India and released a song called "You're the One For Me." Lee wrote the lyrics of the song in 30 minutes between practice sessions of the tournament. Lee is a member of a rock band, "Six & Out," and shares the platform with former NSW cricketers like his brother Shane, Richard Chee Quee, Gavin Robertson and Brad McNamara. Lee plays the acoustic guitar or the bass guitar for the band.
