ETrade Supply recently shared a video on YouTube comparing the screen and digitizer assembly of the upcoming Nokia Lumia 928 against the existing Nokia Lumia 920 smart phone. The video shows that the Finnish company has decided to alter the screen display construction of the Nokia Lumia 928 with all of the assembly layers attached as one.

Nokia Lumia 928 assembly includes the glass, digitizer and touch screen all fused into one layer with an optical adhesive that makes it thinner. In comparison to the Nokia Lumia 920 assembly, the glass and digitizer are not touching the LCD display.

The Lumia 928 screen display will still be similar to the Lumia 920 smart phone but with a different strategy on the actual screen components assembly. Nokia was able to extract two out of the three flex cables in the assembly attaching the glass, digitizer and LCD display into one layer and it is a technique that technology giants Apple and Samsung also utilizes.

The result of this assembly on the viewing experience of the Nokia Lumia 928 is yet to be determined. The video further compares the Nokia Windows Phone assembly with the Samsung Galaxy S3 showing the unit's connection to the motherboard.

The Nokia Lumia 928 assembly will reduce glare, reflections and prohibit dust seepage between the layers. The identified downside on this particular assembly is the increased difficulty in repairing the screen of a sealed Nokia smart phone if damaged.

Numerous reports has been surrounding the Nokia Lumia 928 including the smart phone's arrival at Verizon Wireless and ETrade Supply's online parts listing and price of more than $200. However, no official announcement has been given yet and the excited consumers will have to patiently wait as more reports on the Nokia Lumia 928 details, images or videos emerge on the internet.
