In contrary to what most royal followers believe, there will be no baby shower for the expecting Duchess of Cambridge, at least according to experts.

Even if there is news of Pippa Middleton planning an intimate baby shower for her pregnant sister, royal experts suggest that there will be no such party for the pregnant Duchess. The party-planner sister even planned and insists on an appearance by Queen Elizabeth, which is unlikely to happen as well.

According to ABC's royal expert, Victoria Arbiter, a baby shower is out of Kate and William's list as preparation for the birth of their child.

"(Kate and William) are clearly very wealthy, and a lavish baby shower would be seen as highly inappropriate. There's nothing they can't go out and buy themselves," says Arbiter as reported by Huffington Post.

Arbiter said that there "might be" a possibility of Pippa pushing through with the baby shower, but an appearance from the Queen is less likely to happen. The Queen is busy with her duties as it is, and it has been reported that Kate and the Queen have been dealing with slight misunderstandings when it comes to the furniture to be used in the baby's nursery.

Also, it is not common in the United Kingdom to hold baby showers for pregnant women, but knowing Kate as being non-traditional, who knows what the Duchess plans are when it comes to the welcoming of her baby.
