Nintendo’s fighter ballot for “Super Smash Bros.” has recently concluded, which means players will get to see new combatants in the hit fighting game yet again. Although the results are yet to be revealed, a leaked data code reveals that there are three characters and a new stage coming to “Super Smash Bros.”

After a thorough data mining, the data code for “Super Smash Bros.” reveal that several characters are in the pipeline for the game, Events Hub reports. Players have no idea who the character slots are for but they know that these three could be the leading characters in the fighter’s ballot.

Among the most requested characters are Dixie Kong and King K. Rool, both from "Donkey Kong Country"; Isaac from "Golden Sun;" Inkling from "Splatoon;" and Ridley from "Metroid. Even Microsoft is willing to contribute to the roster as it has given Nintendo the blessing to allow the inclusion of “Banjo-Kazooie” as part of a “Super Smash Bros.” DLC.

Christian Today notes that another possible inclusion in the roster is Shovel Knight. This likely possible especially now that the character has its own amiibo despite being a third-party character from Nintendo like “Pac-man” and “Sonic the Hedgehog.”

Nintendo did not reveal an estimate as to when they would announce the characters but it says that it’s going to be revealed soon. The reveal of the new additions would further expand the game’s already massive roster, which is the biggest for the franchise to date.

Despite having such a big roster, the game is missing some fan favorites from recent “Super Smash” games. Most notable of which is Snake from “Metal Gear.” Fans could still see more characters in the future as Nintendo is visibly doing their best to supplement more content to the year-old game.
