Nintendo will showcase the "The Legend of Zelda" at E3 2016. Nintendo

Nintendo fans are already expecting one thing for the company’s booth at the E3 2016 event. And that’s mostly revolving around “The Legend of Zelda” and some plays on the game floor.

However, the space that Nintendo has set up is surprisingly big especially with just one title taking precedence. Nintendo Life has spotted the floor space map that features Nintendo alongside Microsoft, Sony and Oculus Rift.

Based on the image, it appears that Nintendo’s space is just a little smaller than the combined space of Sony’s booth, and perhaps just as big as Microsoft’s. it’s definitely bigger than the Oculus booth. Considering that both Sony and Microsoft are expected to not only showcase a wide array of games, but also show off the rumoured PS4 Neo and Xbox One Scorpio consoles.

This has sparked speculations as to why the company has a large space devoted to just one game at E3 2016. One fan even pointed out that there are two separate sections, which could hint that Nintendo may still have something up its sleeve.

Nintendo has already announced that it will not be showcasing the Nintendo NX, the upcoming console, at the event. It has also stated that the focus of its E3 2016 appearance will be “The Legend of Zelda,” which is coming to the Wii U and Nintendo NX. It will feature a Treehouse stage, from which there will be pods that attendees of the event can play the latest “The Legend of Zelda” title.

Fans will know more come the event. For now, Nintendo has just announced a partnership with Vans, which now brings a new line of Van shoes come June 3. There will be exclusive Nintendo prints featuring the likes of “Super Mario Bros,” “Donkey Kong,” “The Legend of Zelda” and an NES pattern design, among others.

Polygon features images of the shoes. There are also other Vans apparel featuring Nintendo classics, such as backpacks, flipflops, hats and socks. Nintendo has yet to announce the pricing for the new line.
