The CW Network has released the promo photos from an upcoming episode of "The Originals" Season 2 featuring "The Vampire Diaries" actress Nina Dobrev. The 25-year-old brunette beauty will be crossing over from Mystic Falls to New Orleans, not as Elena Gilbert but as Original doppelganger Tatia, and the promo photos tease the actress' different look for the character.

According to a TV Line report, the CW Network recently released the photo stills to tease the fans with more flashback scenes in the upcoming episode that Nina Dobrev will make an appearance as Tatia. The TVD star will once again experience another love triangle story in "The Originals" Season 2.

Actor Joseph Morgan, who portrays Klaus Mikaelson in the CW spinoff series, thinks Tatia's appearance is shocking. "It's pretty grim. I don't want to spoil too much, but it's definitely revealing of the brothers and what happened back then," the 33-year-old English actor teased.

The release photo stills includes as well Tatia's romantic connection with the Mikaelson siblings, Klaus and Elijah (Daniel Gillies), and another guest appearance from actress Alice Evans who portrays Esther Mikaelson. Click HERE to see photos.

In an exclusive E!Online TV Scoop report, executive producer Julie Plec teased that Tatia's love story with Klaus and Elijah will remind the viewers with the Stefan-Elena-Damon love triangle from "The Vampire Diaries." The series creator further teased that Esther will be responsible for Tatia's death.

Plec shared that secrets, scandal, romance and terrible tragedy are attached to the character and the upcoming episode will bring the viewers to the past in order to see how everything played out. Meanwhile, actress Nina Dobrev admitted that portraying Tatia was a "really fun" experience since the character was the "most pure" of all the Petrova doppelgangers.

"She was just sort of the dealing with love that went wrong," Dobrev explained. The actress is the second TVD cast member to make a guest appearance in "The Originals." The fans can recall that Michael Trevino, who portrays Tyler Lockwood, left Mystic Falls behind to go to New Orleans and seek revenge on Klaus in "The Originals" Season 1, episode 7 titled "Bloodletting."

Nina Dobrev is set to make her first appearance as Tatia in "The Originals" Season 2, episode 5 titled "Red Door" which will air on Monday night, Nov. 3, at 8 p.m. ET on the CW Network.
