Former “The Vampire Diaries” (TVD) actress Nina Dobrev looked stunning at the launch party of “The Beauty Book For Brain Cancer” Edition 2. The event was held last Thursday evening, Dec. 3, at Le Jardin in Hollywood, Los Angeles.

Just Jared reports that Dobrev wore an olive coloured Ellie Saab dress that showed off her long legs. At the launch party, the 26-year-old Bulgarian-Canadian actress crossed paths with Kendrick Sampson, another former “The Vampire Diaries” cast member.

The other celebrities that attended “The Beauty Book For Brain Cancer” Edition 2 event are “Once Upon a Time” actress Jamie Chung, Ian Harding, Sydney Park, Matt Lanter, Callan McAuliffe, Sharni Vinson, Ricky Whittle and Ryan Guzman. Voices Against Brain Cancer hosted the launch party where the guests enjoyed listening to music and drinking cocktails to celebrate the book’s new edition.

“The Beauty Book For Brain Cancer” can be purchased online at www.thebeautybook.org and at local book stores. For those who purchased the book, 50% will be given to Voices Against Brain Cancer while the other 50% will be given to the Sydney Neurology Oncology Group.

Meanwhile, some fans of “The Vampire Diaries” are speculating that Dobrev will still make an appearance in the seventh season of CW’s supernatural drama series. However, Dobrev revealed to Interview magazine that she made the difficult decision to leave the show during the sixth season of “The Vampire Diaries.”

“I always knew that I'd signed up for a certain amount of time and I fulfilled it. I had a great experience, but everything has to come to an end and this was my time,” Dobrev explained. At the moment, Dobrev admitted that she wants to do film and she is picking her next projects very carefully because content is extremely important to her.

Dobrev shared that she wants to do things that would challenge her acting skills. The “Let’s Be Cops” and “The Final Girls” star explained that if her new project does not scare her, then she is not growing as an actress.

Dobrev further added that she will not accept a project just because she is going to earn a lot from it. “I'd rather wait for something really good—to be excited about a role, or a director, or a project,” the former TVD star stated.
