The Minnesota Vikings have set their sight on UCF signal-caller Blake Bortles as their top quarterback prospect, according to a reliable league source on Tuesday.

The Vikings, who are desperately in need of a signal caller after a disastrous 2013 season, are reportedly interested to use their no.8 overall pick for Bortles, according to , Peter King MMQB.com. The analyst believe Bortles' playing style perfectly fits Norv turner offensive scheme.

"According to King, Bortles is "the kind of quarterback Minnesota offensive coordinator Norv Turner loves" and doubts he's available to anyone drafting after No. 8 overall," NFL Trade Rumors reported on Tuesday.

Aside from the Vikings, the Cleveland Browns and the Houston Texas could also make a run for Bortles, who covered 3,581 yards with 25 touchdowns and 9 interceptions in his final year with the Knights.

The Vikings were previously thought not interested to pick Bortles after not inviting him for a workout. However, there's some sense that Minnesota would eventually pick UCF quarterback after its officials took a dinner with him at the Scouting Combine.
