The latest Android tablet from Google, the HTC Nexus 9, was expected to be released by T-Mobile in early December. However, the recent news is that the Nexus 9 release has been postponed indefinitely. Meanwhile, in U.K., the Motorola Nexus 6 smartphone is available for purchase via O2.

T-Mobile's HTC Nexus 9 Tablet

Apparently, the reason for the delay in releasing the Nexus 9 tablet has been attributed to stock issues under T-Mobile's non-carrier plan. This information was picked up by GSM Arena via a leaked internal communication from T-Mobile. Unfortunately, the carrier doesn't know when the Nexus 9 stocks will arrive.

Reportedly, this is not the first time the carrier faced such problems with the Nexus lineup. T-Mobile delayed the release of the Nexus 6 smartphone by a week because of stock issues as well.

Moving on to the key specifications of the device, the Nexus 9 tablet features an 8.9-inch IPS LCD display, 1,536 x 2,048 pixels resolution, Android v5.0 Lollipop, Nvidia Tegra K1 processor and 2 GB of RAM. In addition, it has a 16 GB or 32 GB of built-in memory, 8 MP rear-facing camera, 1.6 MP front-facing shooter and 6,700 mAh battery unit.

O2's Motorola Nexus 6 Smartphone

Google's Motorola-made Nexus 6 can now be purchased from O2 in the U.K. The Nexus 6 can be purchased from O2's "Refresh Tariff" plan. This plan lets the customers upgrade the handset at their convenience with no restriction on the time period. Adding cherry on top, O2 is also offering a special deal where the device can be purchased with unlimited texts, unlimited minutes, in addition to 2 GB of data for just 38 GBP per month, notes GSM Arena.

The original preorder date for the Nexus 6 under O2 was supposed to be in November. However, it did not pan out for the service provider. On the other hand, Carphone Warehouse was expected to release the device on Dec. 1. Now the company's website states that Dec. 8 is the release date for the Nexus 6.

Key features of the Nexus 6 smartphone include a 5.96-inch AMOLED display, QHD 2,560 x 1,400 pixels resolution, Android v5.0 Lollipop, Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 SoC and 3 GB of RAM. In addition, it features 32 GB or 64 GB of built-in memory, 13 MP rear-facing camera, 2 MP front-facing shooter and 3,220 mAh battery unit.
