The Xbox One will be getting another AAA IP as rumours start to build around the next project coming from developer Rare. And it appears that the next project will involve the Unreal Engine as well as the use of the cloud.

This comes from new job postings spotted by DualShockers, wherein the studio is actively looking for a Rendering Software Engineer, a Principal Technical Artist and a Services Software Engineer. According to the job descriptions, Rare is already "deep into the development" of its next project, touting it as an AAA adventure bound to open the eyes of fans.

It has also been announced that the Unreal Engine or its equivalent will be part of the project, as the Principal Technical Artist needs to have some experiences with the software. Lastly, there is a need for someone who can handle the cloud, primarily for one that suits the Microsoft Azure cloud.

Rare has been purchased by Microsoft, so it's interesting to see what kind of games they will be making in the future. And considering that the battle between consoles has now elevated to the level of games, the exclusivity of great titles to a particular console may make or break it.

'Titanfall' New Mode Revealed

The Xbox exclusive "Titanfall" has been quiet for some time now, but it appears that developer Respawn has been in the drawing board for a new mode. The new mode, according to VG 24/7 is Frontier Defense, which allows four players to get into co-op mode.

This was announced in a live Twitch stream from the developer. More than that, Frontier Defense will also have content that is very familiar for those who have already played horde-mode. There will be new enemies in Frontier Defense, including Sniper Spectres, Arc Titans, the Harvester and Mortar Titans. The current "TItanfall" will also be receiving some tweaks, primarily focused on enemies which will be getting some new behaviors.

Content Update 8 will contain all of the ne improvements and modes, including Marked for Death Pro. The upcoming update will be the biggest of what Respawn has released so far. Frontier Defense will be releasing some time tomorrow, while Marked for Death Pro is coming in Nov. 26.
