Apple Inc suppliers will begin mass producing displays as early as May 2014 for the next iPhone, expected to be launched this autumn, with a 4.7-inch screen likely to be produced first while a 5.5-inch version could be delayed, supply chain sources said. Japan Display Inc, Sharp Corp and South Korea's LG Display Co Ltd have all been tapped to make the screens, said the sources, who asked not to be identified. Reuters

As the year progresses, Apple's usual release timeline also approaches. Best known for releases at the latter part of the year, attention and hype are building up over possible Apple releases include new Macs. According to estimates, the Cupertino-based giant may soon be releasing a fresh series along with updates like the iOS 9 expected during its Worldwide Developer's Conference. Will Apple launch a new revolutionary line of computers?

Apple fans and observers are always keen even on the littlest details and changes on the company's site. Some note that variations in shipping schedule and even changes in prices could mean product stocks coming soon. The same idea now hovers around a new series of Apple Macs.

Presently, the iMac and the 15-inch MacBook Pro are running on Intel's Haswell processors. The chip is based on Intel's 22-nanometer manufacturing technology. While Intel has already released the Broadwell as a follow up, it only supports low-power systems including devices such as the MacBook Air and the latest 12-inch MacBook. The company has yet to reveal the high-powered Broadwell version.

The company did claim that it will be launching the Broadwell-based processors for high performance around mid-2015. Translating this to Apple's terms may mean around May to August. This may also hint new rounds of computer coming out. CEO Brian Krzanich did say during Intel's latest earnings call that the 14-nanometer Broadwell products should arrive "slightly ahead of [Intel's] forecast." Expected features of the processor include Core i5-5675C/5675R and Core i7-5775C/5775R point offering CPU performance improvements. Apple has not released any final details of the expected upcoming Macs and Macbooks.

What is certain will be Apple's yearly Worldwide Developer's Conference. As one of the company's staple calendar events, many expect Apple to release several products during the event including new versions of the iOS, OS X, Mac hardware and even iPads. The Date of the event also coincides with the projected release of the Intel's processors. However, people will have to wait for further announcements from both Intel and Apple.
