New posters of Vin Diesel’s upcoming film “The Last Witch Hunter” have been released. The actor is almost unrecognisable as Kaulder in these two posters.

In one of the posters (via Den of Geek), the actor can be seen holding a sword. He is wearing a black cape and is sporting heavy beard. He also appears to have bloodstains on his forearms. The second poster features his close-up.

The film’s new trailer was also recently released. It shows Diesel going into the dream world to fight the witches who are threatening New York City.

The trailer opens with Kaulder enjoying with his family. The good time, however, does not last for long, as Kaulder gains immortality but loses his family. “Do you know what it’s like to live forever,” a voice-over says.

There are scenes of Kaulder fighting witches, and also he is shown meeting a woman, whom he can be seen calling the “Dream Walker.” She grants him the power to enter the dreamworld, which will facilitate his passage to the afterlife. The trailer ends with Kaulder saying that he is not afraid of anything.

“The Last Witch Hunter” follows Kaulder, the last witch hunter who has survived and has been blessed with immortality. He partners with a female witch Chloe (Rosie Leslie) to save New York from a horrific plague.

Speaking about the film to Collider, Diesel said that he signed on to play Kaulder because he loves Dungeons and Dragons. He added that his warrior character is a “hybrid” who can create a “spell.” He also hinted that Kaulder and Chloe are going to grow fond of each of other in the film.

Breck Eisner has directed the film. It also stars Sir Michael Caine, Ólafur Darri Ólafsson, Julie Engelbrecht, Lotte Verbeek and Elijah Wood.

The film will hit the theaters on Oct 24. It has been produced by Lionsgate Entertainment, and according to film experts, it is going to be a huge box office success.
