After a brief hiatus, fans are excited for the return of “NCIS,” as the hit TV series promises to deliver another mind-boggling episode. Season 14 Episode 19, titled “The Wall,” centres on a murder case that happens at an event for veterans. When a Marine turns up dead, the team gets down to work but it’s not as simple as it seems.

As Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon) and his team investigate the case, they find themselves at the mercy of a short-tempered veteran, who is the only person who can give them information about the victim’s whereabouts. “Rizzoli & Isles” alum Bruce McGill has signed up as guest star to play the role of Henry Rogers, the cantankerous veteran.

He joins other characters who will also be featured on the March 28 episode, including Alexandra “Alex” Quinn’s (Jennifer Esposito), Timothy McGee (Sean Murray), Eleanor Bishop (Emily Wickersham), Jimmy Palmer (Brian Dietzen), Abby Sciuto (Pauley Perrette), Leon Vance (Rocky Carroll), Nicholas “Nick” Torres (Wilmer Valderrama), Dr Donald “Ducky” Mallard, (David McCallum) and MI6 Officer Clayton Reeves (Duane Henry).

Spoiler alert! This update contains more "NCIS” Season 14 spoilers. Read on at your own risk if you have not watched the latest episode.

TV Guide reports that Tuesday’s installment revolves around the event for the Honor Flight Network, a non-profit that arranges for veterans to visit the World War II, Korea and Vietnam War Memorials in Washington, D.C. for free. Meanwhile, McGee and Bishop also become occupied as they delve into a titillating rumour about Quinn and Torres.

CBS posted a sneak peek of Episode 19. In the trailer, Mallard teases Gibbs, who seems to be in deep thought. “The classic Jethro look of query and frustration, mixed with a dash of ‘someone’s going to pay,’” the medical examiner says. McGee, on the other hand, excitedly approaches Bishop and tells her that he has big news. Quinn somehow gets wind of the gossip about her and Torres and he tells him, “Something’s going on, it’s about us.” Later, McGee formulates a plan and shares it with Bishop. “I’ll talk to Torres,” McGee says. “I’ll get him alone, man to man.” However, Gibbs walks in and bursts his bubble, saying, “Fantasize on your own time, McGee.”

“The Wall” is directed by Bethany Rooney and written by Gina Lucita Monreal, according to the Internet Movie Database, or IMDb. The upcoming run also features guest stars Samantha Colburn (Bridget O'Leary), Will Radford (Dale Gruber), Jamie Sara Slovon (Trish Collinson), Peter James Smith (Benjamin Harmey) and Delpaneaux Wills (Corporal Beck).
