‘Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4’ Gets New Trailer And Collector’s Edition

It’s somewhat ironic how that the first current-gen video game featuring Naruto details his final adventure, but that is exactly what will happen in “Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4.” To celebrate the occasion and pay tribute to the character, publisher Bandai Namco and developer CyberConnect 2 have released a new “Ultimate Ninja Storm 4” trailer with some new gameplay. They have also detailed the upcoming Collector’s Edition for hardcore fans of the series, though it looks to be a European exclusive.

According to Geek Snack, the new trailer and collector’s edition of “Ultimate Ninja Storm 4” were revealed during the Japan Expo 2015 event that was held in France. The trailer proved to be a big hit with fans, as it featured a reunited Team 7 – a team comprised of Naruto, Sakura and Sasuke, taking on the series’ big villain Madara Uchiha in his deadly “Six Paths” state.

The “Ultimate Ninja Storm 4” Collector’s Edition is also being hyped heavily due to some of its extras. This version of the game will come with downloadable content (DLC ) Costumes of Naruto and Sasuke as adults, an art book called “Storm Memories,” a metal plate featuring Sasuke and the last ever Naruto 17 cm statue that will ever be made for the “Ultimate Ninja Storm” games.

Two other exclusive pre-order bonuses include Boruto, the son of Naruto and his partner Sarada. A report from Attack of the Fanboy states that these DLC costumes will only be available as pre-order bonuses and won’t be available anytime after, so fans of these characters will have to pre-order the game right away if they want to play as them.

While the game details the final adventure of Naruto and Team 7, it hasn’t been clarified if this game will be the last in the “Ultimate Ninja Storm” series. The number of “Dragon Ball Z" games didn’t stop after the anime ended, so it’s entirely possible for the “Naruto” games to do the same, though no official announcement was made.

“Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4” will be coming out in the autumn of 2015 and will be available for Microsoft’s Xbox One, Sony’s PlayStation 4 and the Windows PC. No specific release date has been given yet.
