Speculations and rumours surrounding the upcoming Motorola DROID Turbo smartphone are rife. However, now we have information on the leaked User Manual pertaining to the DROID handset. The manual gives a good glimpse of the overall picture of the much-anticipated device.

Reportedly, the DROID Turbo will feature a 5.2-inch display bundled with a killer resolution of 1,440 x 2,560 pixels. The handset will sport an impressive 21 MP rear-facing camera unit with dual LED flash. However, the front-facing shooter's specification is unknown at this point. In addition, the DROID device will support Motorola Turbo charger for quicker charging. Similar to the Moto X handset, users can swipe their hands above the DROID Turbo handset to ignore a call or even to turn off an alarm clock, according to Phone Arena.

Moreover, the upcoming handset will come equipped with Motorola's software add-ons like Moto Actions, Moto Display and Moto Connect. The QWERTY keyboard automatically brings in keys based on the context of the typed down words, similar to BlackBerry Passport's virtual keys. Say for example, if a user is typing down an email address, based on the context, symbols like "@ and /" will be displayed to the user.

Also, the re-designed Clock widget will let the DROID user to store a message or address. This feature is helpful especially when the device goes missing and lands on a person's hand that has the intention to find the owner. Apart from the standard connectivity options, the DROID Turbo also supports NFC. Plus, the device employs nano-SIM. On the back of the device, there is a Moto logo encircled in a rounded ring. Also, the volume rocker on the side of the handset will apparently double as a SIM tray. The tray can be pulled out with the fingernail. Furthermore, the smartphone will support wireless charging (Qi), says Android Police.

Besides, the Turbo is a Verizon exclusive smartphone. However if reports are true, other major carriers will also offer the same device with a different name. Moto X Play is another name that is being rumoured to be a replica of the DRIOD Turbo from AT&T. The Turbo is expected to be released sometime in the Christmas holiday season.
