The newest patch for “Mortal Kombat X” has been released by NetherRealm Studios. But what caught players’ eyes was not the bug fixes, but rather he appearance of a hint to Jason Voorhees.

According to GameSpot, the silhouette of the famed horror character was seen by some players in the character select screen. However, not all players have seen this following the update. Jason’s presence in “Mortal Kombat X” has been teased even by the developer.

“He will be slashing his way onto your console game soon!” teased Creative Head Ed Boon via Twitter.

As far as the latest update is concerned, this third batch is set to fix a couple of problems, including the one that involving the sign in problems for PS4 players. The “Mortal Kombat X” update 1.03 is worth a little over 3 GB, with the following fixes, detailed over at Reddit:

- Krypt Switches Fix

- Sony Entertainment Network account Sign In Fix

- Leader Board Fix

- Purchasing Easy Fatality Fix

- Test Fixes

PC verson developer High Voltage Software has also been hard at work. High Voltage Software is responsible for this version, together with the PS3 and Xbox 360. However, fans are fast seeing the many issues that have been plaguing the PC version for “Mortal Kombat X.”

In a report from Destructoid, High Voltage Software was quoted responding to a fan that they have been working nonstop in order to bring fixes to issues that fans have been seeing in the game. In fact, a new patch was just delivered. In case the issue is still not yet addressed, the developer is seeking out to fans to inform them of the issues so that these can be immediately addressed.

Casual players on mobile, or those who want to have the companion app to the console version, can enjoy the soft-release of “Mortal Kombat X” on Google Play Store. According to Android Authority, there has already been positive response from gamers, as evidenced by the inline experience that allows challenges of up of three players per competition. Another upside to the game is its impeccable visual quality and graphics, as none of the action and gore had been skimped on.

For now, “Mortal Kombat X” for Android devices is only available in select Google Play markets, not including the U.S. Similar to NetherRealm Studios’ other mobile fighting game, “Injustice: Gods Among Us,” it is a free-to-play app, with in-app purchases in helping boost level ups. It will also require the same space in mobile devices, with at least 1 GB of RAM for the best quality in gameplay experience.
