Mlais M7 is yet another smartphone with impressive specs from the Chinese smartphone maker. It has already launched several smartphones with unbeatable pricing this year such as the Mlais M52, the Mlais M4 Note, the Mlais M7 and the Mlais MX Base. The all new Mlais M7 Plus is a slightly upgraded edition of the Mlais M7.

The Mlais M7 Plus comes with better hardware over its predecessor that was released few months ago, Giz China reported. In terms of appearance, the newer handset does not differ from the original model. However, it features a new chipset, an improved rear camera, an upgraded OneTouch fingerprint sensor and a larger battery.

The Mlais M7 Plus is fitted with a 5.5-inch IPS OGS display that supports HD resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The new MediaTek MT6753 SoC delivers a clocking speed of 1.5 GHz through its octa-core processor along with Mali-T720 graphics along with 3 GB of RAM. The native storage of the device is 16 GB and the external storage supports up to 64 GB of microSD.

It is a dual-SIM smartphone that comes with Android 5.1 out-of-the-box. The rear camera has been upgraded to house a Sony IMX214 13 MP shooter instead of the IMX315 sensor that is present on the MlaisM7. On the front, it features a selfie camera of 5 MP.

The handset is enabled with several connectivity features such as USB OTG, microUSB, v4.0, 4G LTE, 3G and Wi-Fi. A single press on the new OneTouch fingerprint scanner allows waking up as well as unlocking the handset. On the original Mlais M7, it only supports waking up of the device. The handset is equipped a with 2,800 mAh battery.

The Mlais M7 Plus is listed with a preorder pricing of $179 on Gear Best with two colour options of white and black. The preorders that started on Aug. 21 is slated to get over by Sept. 15.
