In a sad morning, the father of deceased singer Amy Winehouse gave away some of her belongings to fans, including shirts, trinkets, and some accessories.

After Amy's father Mitch visited the singer's home in North London, where the "Rehab" singer was found dead on July 23, he greeted fans bearing a number of the singer's possessions. Mitch handed out tank tops and t-shirts, including the simple white tank the singer wore at a festival. According to the late singer's father, giving away stuff is what Amy would have wanted. When Mitch spoke with a few mourners outside the Amy's home, he blurted out "these are Amy's T-shirts. This is what she would have wanted - for her fans to have her clothes" as transcribed by The Sun.

Some of the singer's more valuable possessions, like her beloved notebook and guitar were brought home by the family to place where they keep Amy's urn. The notebook, which is said to include personal writings and songs, contains the final thoughts of the troubled singer. The Rabbi who looked over Amy's funeral said yesterday "She was a frail little girl. I think it was too much for her body and she succumbed".

Yesterday, it was revealed that the singer spent the last three weeks of her short life contacting old friends whom she had never spoke to in a while. It was also said that just last week, the singer confessed to close friends that her similarly-troubled ex, Blake Fielder-Civil, is the only one "who can save" her from giving in to addiction. The singer contacted her ex, who's in prison, last week but Fielder-Civil's current partner Sarah Astin told the singer to "back off".

Mitch Winehouse, together with other family members, spent their day in a synagogue to continue their Jewish tradition of mourning.
