According to a source, the deceased singer spent the last three weeks of her short life contacting old friends via text messages and Facebook, as if she knew her impending doom.

According to a close friend of the late singer, Amy didn't leave her home for a month and spent her days drinking booze with an old phone book in hand. The source added that the singer flipped her friends' Facebook pages and sent messages asking "how they were". "Amy sent texts and messaged old friends and musicians to see how they were - a lot of them she hadn't spoken to in years" says the source in a post by The Sun. "She was lonely, so maybe she just wanted to get in touch with familiar faces," continues the source in the same report.

"Looking back at it now, it was like she was preparing for something to happen to her" continues the source in the same The Sun report. Just recently, it was also revealed that Amy told close friends that her ex Blake Fielder-Civil is "the only one that can save" her with her concurrent battle with addiction. During 2005 to 2007, Winehouse and Civil-Fielder's relationship were filled with drug and alcohol binges, with friends saying they "enabled" each other.

The singer was found dead on July 23 at around 3:45 AM in her home. When the police found the singer's body, there were no signs of narcotics around the house, contradicting popular belief that the death was caused by an overdose. Yesterday, the singer's remains were laid to rest in London's Golders Green Crematorium, where producer Mark Ronson, actress Kelly Osbourne attended to pay their respects (click here to view photos of the funeral).
