Miley Cyrus and Patrick Schwarzenegger attended the same party. However, the ex-lovers tried their best to avoid each other.

US Weekly reports that both Miley and ex beau Patrick attended the birthday bash of Bootsy Bellows owner Markus Molinari, held at the Blind Dragon. The two, which broke up on April, just after five months of intense dating, have not resolved their issues or tried to strike a friendship just yet. During the part, the source of US Weekly claimed that the two did not interact with one another. Specifically, the source shared that Patrick essentially acted like she was not in the party and so did not speak a word to her. The source shared that Patrick was with Katy Perry for majority of the night.

It can be remembered that the two called it quits in April after Patrick was snapped having some too-friendy time with a friend clad in a bikini. Even though Patrick denied all allegations that he was cheating on Miley, a source of US Weekly claimed that the whole incident destroyed their relationship significantly. Termed the “Mexico scandal,” the source explained that the incident did some “serious damage.”

People magazine however reported that Miley and Patrick called it quits because they are both respectively busy with their careers and personal lives. Miley is said to be busy with her music career while Patrick is focused on his studies.

Back in May however, Miley also revealed that she had a lot of non-straight relationships, hinting the idea that she could be gay or bisexual. However, she also clarified that her future does not rely on having a partner anymore, claiming that this is not only her, but a “newfound freedom” for women all over the world. "I think that's a new freedom for women, especially. I don't know that my mother would have been able to be 22 and secure in being alone. But my future doesn't rely on having a partner," she said.

In relation to the revelation, the young star is also particularly protective over LGBT rights. The “Wrecking Ball” Singer recently launched her “The Happy Hippie Foundation,” which is dedicated to protecting the rights and helping the LGBT youth and homeless.
