It's long been rumored that Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are having some trouble in paradise.

After appearing several times in public without her engagement ring, Miley and Liam are said to have cancelled their summer wedding. The couple who are in a rocky boat regarding their relationship are said to have postponed their June wedding until they have sorted their issues.

The 20-year-old Hannah Montana star seems to be troubled these days. She was photographed smoking a suspicious hand rolled cigarette in her hotel balcony, minus her engagement ring. Although she repeatedly denied about their rumored breakup, the young couple created buzz when Liam decided to fly to Australia and have time for himself.

The ongoing "coldness" and distance between the two didn't help with the issue at all. If anything, their reactions and corresponding actions have kept the rumormill spinning.

"They were supposed to get married in June. But there have been so many problems with them, they thought it was best to work out their issues before making such a big commitment," a source said on Life & Style magazine. "They aren't ready. Their families are both concerned. They don't want to see Miley and Liam get married and then get divorced. They're very young to be getting married."

Liam's sister-in-law confirmed in an interview on Monday that she is not sure whether the Miley-Liam wedding will push through. Meanwhile, Liam's older brother Luke praised Miley and said that the singer has won their hearts.

"She's great. She loves our kids, and our kids absolutely love her. She won our hearts. I find her really interesting. I find her very articulate, and years in maturity above her age," Luke told Entertainment Weekly magazine. "But at the same time, she's very much like Liam. I think a lot of people don't realize that they are really, really in love. They actually are a perfect match in a lot of ways."
