Even though everything seems to be at a rumour stage for the Microsoft Surface Phone, it is one of the most talked-about devices on the Internet currently. Recent rumours suggest that the Surface Phone will have a Cyan back cover, speakers at both top and bottom, 3.5mm jack will remain and it could also be used as a mini-tablet in landscape mode.

As per The Bitbag, the Surface Phone users will also experience the Surface Pen with the device. Needless to say, the device will boast of some top-class specs including a very powerful processor and a micro-HDMI port for easy connection of the device to any screen. The Surface Phone is expected to have an aluminium body just like the iPhones.

As per LearnBonds, the Microsoft Surface Phone will be bold as well as enterprise-friendly at the same time. Once connected to a monitor, the Surface Phone will give users full Windows 10 experience. The Cover Touch will serve as a keyboard whereas the Surface Phone will act like a 10-point multi-touch track pad.

Recent reports stated that Microsoft has filed a patent for “fingerprint detection with transparent cover” and hence tech experts believe the Microsoft Surface Phone will have the feature. It will also have an AMOLED Display.

There are also rumours that the Surface Phone will be available in two variants, one for the general consumer and the other for the business consumer. The former will have a 5.5-inch screen and the latter a 6-inch screen.

However, some suggest that the Surface Phone will have three versions, the Basic version with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage, Advanced version with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage and the Pro Variant with 8GB RAM and 512GB internal storage.

Other top features of the Microsoft Surface Phone would include 21MP rear and 8MP selfie camera, Carl Zeiss lens, 3,000 mAh battery for the three versions and the Intel Kaby Lake processors.

The price of the Microsoft Surface Phone models will be in the range of US$700 (AU$920) and US$1,200 (AU$1,570).
