A brand new budget-friendly Windows Phone handset with LTE connectivity on board has reportedly been released. The Microsoft Blu Win HD LTE smartphone is the shining new device in town. Also, it is worth noting that, this is a Windows 10-compatible handset.

Potential buyers in the U.S. can purchase the handset now from Microsoft Store. The Microsoft Blu Win HD smartphone will apparently set the buyers back by $199 for the LTE version, while the non-LTE variant will cost $179.99, Phone Arena notes. Plus, interested buyers can choose the handset from a slew of colour choices like grey, yellow, white and orange.

Notably, the new Blu Win HD LTE is the successor of 2014’s Blu Win HD. In comparison, the predecessor does not support LTE, whereas the successor comes with LTE support. While the Blu Win HD LTE is powered by a 64-bit quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor, the original version settles for Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 SoC, according to Phone Arena. Moving on to the Blu Win HD LTE specifications, the device reportedly features a pocket-friendly 5.0-inch display and 720 x 1,280 pixels screen resolution. Moreover, the Blu NexLens display technology offers rich and crystal-clear quality of image from every angle, according to Microsoft Store.

When it comes to camera configuration, the phone sports a good 8 MP rear-facing unit with autofocus and a 2 MP front-facing shooter for capturing selfies. The device also supports dual-SIM. Furthermore, the handset is apparently backed by 1 GB of RAM configuration. Meanwhile, the Blu Win HD LTE is 0.32-inch thick and weighs 146 g, Microsoft Store notes. If these features are not impressive enough, this budget-friendly handset also comes with Cortana support.

As far as the memory goes, this wallet-friendly handset comes equipped with 8 GB of in-built storage capacity with microSD card support for expansion up to 32 GB. On the software end, the Blu Win HD LTE runs on Windows Phone 8.1. However, once the Windows 10 gets officially released, this handset will apparently be upgraded to the latest OS version. Lastly, the whole configuration is held together and powered by a good 2,500 mAh battery unit.
