The online store of Microsoft Australia is now offering the Dell XPS 13 Signature Edition for $2,124. The laptop was originally priced at $2,499.

This translates into a discount of $374.85 (15 percent) upfront. The offer is valid till 11:59pm AEST, May 25, 2016 on Microsoft Store Australia. The Dell XPS 13 Signature Edition deal will also be available at the retail outlets of Microsoft across Australia.

However, this offer cannot be combined with cash or coupon codes or any other offer, confirmed Microsoft.

For those who are not aware, Signature Edition laptops are meant to be safer and more secure. “They include free anti-virus software that never expires and have no junkware or trialware, ensuring that your new PC is always clean, fast, and protected,” says Microsoft.

Dell offers the XPS 13 in two display options, either Full HD or an UltraSharp Quad HD Infinity display.

The Dell XPS 13 on deal sports a 13.3-inch UltraSharp Quad HD display which comes packed with 5.7 million pixels, which is 2.5 times that of Full HD variant. The QHD model also comes with touchscreen functionality.

With a colour gamut of 72 percent and a contrast ratio of 1000:1, the 2-in-1 laptop is amazingly bright and displays gorgeous colours.

Pre-installed with Windows 10 Home , the 2-in-1 Dell XPS 13 come packed with a backlit keyboard.

The Signature Edition laptop runs on 6th gen Intel Core i7 (6500U) paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of in-built storage. Dell recently revamped the graphics of the XPS 13 variant powered by Intel Core i7 with Intel Iris graphics.

The graphics bump will result in 40 percent improvement on graphics performance, claims Dell.

On a battery test by Laptop Mag, following a BIOS update, the latest version of the aluminium-clad ultra-portable Dell XPS 13 lasted for 11 hours and 54 minutes.
