At the CES 2016, Dell upgraded two of its most popular laptops. The aluminium-clad ultra-portable Dell XPS 13 gets a graphics upgrade and the Dell XPS 15 is announced with a new configuration.

The company will offer a variant of the XPS 13, powered by Intel Core i7 with Intel Iris graphics. The company claims that the graphics bump will deliver a 40 percent boost in graphics performance compared to its counterpart. Dell also added a new colour option to its high-end XPS 13 laptop at the CES 2016. The new Gold version of the device will start shipping from Feb. 2 in the US at US$1,699 (AU$2472).

Dell has also announced the availability of the XPS 15 in a new configuration. Staring Feb. 2, the new variant of XPS 15 will go on sale. The new configuration incorporates a stunning Ultra HD resolution display, an Intel Core i7 processor, 32GB of RAM, 1TB of in-built storage and Nvidia GPU. The device will come with a price tag of US$2,949.99 (AU$4293), reports The Verge.

According to the Laptop review, the XPS 13 comes with an outstanding combination of attractive design, ultra-fast performance, excellent battery life and a competitive price. It is one of its most popular and probably one of the best portable laptops in the market. The latest and updated version is powered by a 6th-generation of Intel Skylake processor paired with 8GB of RAM and a 256GB of internal storage.

Dell also announced three new two-in-one laptops in the Latitude series. The Latitude 13 7000 will be available by March with a price tag of US$1299 (AU$1890). The Latitude 12 7000 will start from US$1049 (AU$1526) and will be shipped by the next month. Lastly, the Latitude 11 5000 series will start from US$749 (AU$1,090).
