Actress Sarah Jessica Parker used her massive head piece to turn heads at the 2015 Met Gala event in New York on Monday night. The “Sex and the City” actress donned a massive flaming head gear that also inspired a lot of memes on Twitter. The actress wore a dress by Philip Treacy and the designer customised the head gear keeping in mind this years' theme of MET Gala – China: Through the Looking Glass.

Sarah's choice of head gear was criticised on social media where people compared it to a flame emoji, a Rorschach inkblot test, the villain from Power Rangers or the villain from “Maleficent.” “I'm a minimalist when it comes to fashion so forgive me when I don't appreciate the dead animals Sarah Jessica Parker carries on her head,” writes Zainab I Hayatu-deen “@_AfricanHippie” on Twitter about Sarah's head gear.

Many also compared it with The Black Hermit Aku's head gear. “@TheBlackHermit‪: Aku gets bonus points for versatility RT @JChiron18: Who wore it better? pic.twitter.com/EZ6aqvoYuU,” writes A.A “@Oooops____” on Twitter. Another Twitter user abby “@MissAbbyMcLain” wrote that she looks like “Heat Miser.” Another Twitter user Joe Jin “@joejindesign” wrote that Sarah's head piece is similar to a “flame headdress” used in “2008 Beijing Olympic.” Check out the pictures here.

Sarah was not the only one who was targeted by Twitterati for the memes. The Barbados beauty Rihanna also wore a very memorable long train coat dress in Yellow colour. She also made a statement with a huge crystal-embellished Guo Pei headpiece, Cartier jewelry and heels by Christian Louboutin. Instead of getting praises from her fans, the “Diamonds” singer was ridiculed for her choice of gown.

Instagram user @michaelmajesty made fun of Rihanna's gown by photoshopping it to make it look like a pizza. The user incorporated pepperonis, tomatoes and bell peppers on Rihanna's long train to make it look like a giant pizza. Other users also compared Rihanna's gown with poured omelet, yellow condom and also to Spongebob and Yellow Brick Road.
