The new “Marvel Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” teaser clip only lasted 10 seconds, stating that the Spirit of Vengeance will continue his demonic quest. The team will be dealing with a lot of dangers in the new episode. Eli is keen on destroying everything that will try to stop him. The previous episode also revealed the person behind the Momentum Laboratory. Although Coulson (Clark Gregg) and others initially believed that it had to be Lucy and Joseph (Kerr Smith) who were after the Darkhold, it turned out to be Morrow.

Morrow commanded the attack against Joseph. He had the scientist beaten for refusing to share information about the experiment, and not merely to seek revenge for his nephews. Morrow also turned Lucy and the others into ghosts. At the end of “Marvel Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” Season 4 Episode 6, Eli was covered by white energy in the chamber. He gained the ability to create carbon out of nothing. He has become pure evil, capable of killing anyone without remorse. The team will have to find ways to overcome their powerful enemy. Ghost Rider may again be needed to battle the superhuman.
